Notification Strategy WhatsApp hadn't prioritized notifications in years. We had little data, little research, and no clear direction on where to invest. I partnered with cross-functional teams to build the strategy from the ground up, leading workshops, auditing the end-to-end notification experience, running rapid experiments that uncovered what was actually broken. The work led to a north star direction for the notification ecosystem.

✨ AI native workflows

I built a custom generator to bypass backend dependencies and test different layout variants and states instantly. This significantly reduces prototyping time and allows the team to quickly align on the right user experience before engineers spend time building it.

Messaging experience I designed across the core messaging loop—from creating a chat to sending and reading messages—including the group creation flow, composer, link previews, and more. This required scaling each change seamlessly across platforms, themes, and custom accessibility settings, while preserving a simple, private experience. Legalzoom Messaging Platform

LegalZoom connects small business owners with tax experts throughout the filing journey, But the communication between them was broken. Everything ran through email: customers didn't know who would respond, experts lacked context, and every handoff meant starting over. As the sole designer, I rebuilt it as one persistent conversation. Customers got a continuous thread with a named expert, so they always knew who they were talking to. Experts got an integrated workspace that surfaced full history and context in one place. NPS moved from −18 to +57.

Legalzoom LZ Books: Native iOS MVP

25% of LegalZoom users handle their finances on their phones, but they're stuck on mobile web, which creates friction at every stage, from login to daily use. As the sole designer, I led the design and launch of a native iOS MVP in four months, building the product's foundational mobile design system and using native capabilities like biometric login, receipt capture, and mileage tracking to do what the web app couldn't.

Evernote Natural Language Due Dates

Setting due dates is the primary way our users stay organized and engage with tasks, but clicking through traditional calendars creates a lot of unnecessary friction.    I led the end-to-end design of an intuitive input model that lets users simply type the way they naturally speak. The system works in the background to instantly recognize over 35 different date formats, turning text into task data. This made creating tasks with due dates faster and more seamless.
